Three Samurai

Started on this one yesterday as part of a series of pictures for a digital art computer magazine submission.

It shows the three brothers of the samurai.
They were framed and found guilty of a crime against their Lord, which they ofcourse never committed.

Facing death, they fled as they saw no honor in dying for something they did not do.

But the Soldiers of the Lord managed to track them down and in one last fight, the three brothers drew their swords...

Painted over two days, several layers, reference used for parts of the samurai armor such as shape, not detail.
