There's several ways of starting a new picture. If it's for a comcbook like this one, it helps alot if the main story has been written..which I did last year.
A new image can be sparked by a feeling or listening to rock or heavy metal music to mention a few things :-)

The way I love the most is to paint a small part of something, and the expand the canvas and add stuff that fits here and there until You have a finished large picture in the end. :-)

well i listen to greek hip hop to get inspiration! :giggle: i do the same thing too most of the times.:D i never make lineart too!! ouch! :dead:

Hehe....Greek hip hop, that must be something. :-)

I've never been a sucker for lineart myself either...I hate being confined to those inked streaks :XD:
I've had a few jobs where I had to color/shade lineart and it almost killed me...there's not much that can compare itself to the lovely smudge tool in PS :love: :XD:

yeah you tell me...... i had some problems with it too. differen shades can make a corect lineart look really clappy and wrong! O_o Still searching for the right balance of it!:D
Long live liquify and smudge tool!!! Yayyy! hahaha
