Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

2012 has been a year with loads of ups and downs, I haven't had much time to paint & post personal art on DeviantArt for a long time, too many projects that have eaten up my time, sadly it's not all been paid work.
I did run a successful kickstarter project that will be picked up in the beginning of 2013, creating a huge amount of fantasy artwork for use with physical and digital games.

The biggest *up* this year was working with Iron Crown Enterprises, creating both their new logo and covers for several of their rpg books, something I've both dreamed and wished for, for many many years. I can't wait to have the printed books in my hands and say "I did it".

The biggest *down* has been working with several smaller digital games projects, none which have been finished yet. Lack of time, software problems (read shitty beta buggy SDKs) and more. If you're thinking of creating games, think twice, the process of working alongside other people that doesn't share your goals and ideas 100% is taxing on your energy. Be sure that you really want to do it before you dive head in. At least I can say it's been a huge learning experience.

I want to do a personal art piece again, design everything based on my own imagination, but I'm too worn out right now. Hoping to regain some energy, being away from photoshop and the animation softwares for 7-8 days this Christmas, just relaxing and doing fun things with friends and relatives.

That said, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
